Mini CHUO Reef Fade Up Collection

The Mini CHUO Reef Collection consists of paper-cut prints raised at varying heights above a canvas base, creating a delicate canopy of interconnected forms that reflect the interdependent structure of coral reefs. Tiny cuts within each design guide light through the layered paper, producing subtle shadows that shift across the canvas and emphasise the fragility and complexity of reef ecosystems. A continuous blue gradient runs across all ten pieces, linking the works together as a single evolving composition. The paper-cut designs mirror those of their neighbouring artworks, with patterns that extend seamlessly across the frames. Although each piece stands confidently on its own, the collection is designed to be experienced individually or arranged in groups within its grid, revealing new connections and rhythms as the works interact.
